I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I spent the holiday with Jacob. We both worked on Christmas eve. He got off before me and started dinner. He made me his spaghetti which i love love love. We went to bed kind of early. We woke up and went through our stockings. Then we opened presents. He is getting me a puppy next month. We are hoping to find a good deal on a leftover puppy that didnt get bought for christmas or that got returned because it turned out to be too much work. we are also looking at the humane society. Anyway he bought me all the stuff I need for a puppy: food, treats, dishes, bed, crate, toys, trainging books etc. He also bought me a beautiful crucifix necklace. My sissy and her family got me a really cool air popcorn popper that looks like an old fashioned cart popcorn popper.
Later we spent the day watching movies that i bought him : Wall E, Horton Hears a Who, and Kung Fu Panda. We also went outside and built a snow fort. We had Christmas dinner at Shari's. Sadly he had to work at 8 tonight. We had dinner at Applebees courtesy of my mom and stepdad on tuesday because monday was our 5 month anniversary but i had to work late. we dont really make a big deal of monthly marks except to say happy anniversary but i had the gift certificate. I was going to try and make over to see sissy this weekend but the roads are going to be too bad still. :(
Work has been good. I have been getting a steady 40 hours a week. Its nice to have more than just enough to get by. Jacob got two different teaching positions for swing dance. he will be teaching at the WSU rec center and at LCSC. He is really excited.
Jacob's roommates are all gone for two weeks over break so I have pretty much moved in for the time being. Its fun to play house for awhile. I will never admit just how domestic I have become while staying here. Its gotten pretty bad though. I am such a girl.
Well I think I am going to make some more spaghetti noodles. My life is not that exciting.
